Spacefleet Ltd is developing a project for space tourism, which will consist of an aerodynamic craft, designed for vertical or ramp take-off and a horizontal landing on a runway. See the "project" page on this site. This project is under development. It will provide the space tourism experience for eight passengers with two pilots in a single vehicle, and the seat cost should be significantly lower than prices currently proposed for first-generation space tourism vehicles.
Spacefleet has a business plan which is available to potential investors. Our philosophy is to build an international consortium of investors and linked businesses, such as aerospace construction and tourism operators.
We also intend to be active in the acquisition and management of intellectual property relating to space flight. Furthermore, we also intend to create and expand a programme of space education, linked to the project, that will inspire young people everywhere to take up careers in science, aerospace engineering, and astronomy.
There is more to Spacefleet than the company. The Spacefleet Association is an online community of more than 170 space enthusiasts, scientist and engineers around the globe.
The online community exists to facilitate the sharing of knowledge between space scientists and enthusiasts for mutual benefit, and to provide education in space technology and astronomy. We believe that space travel should be an international cooperative undertaking.
