 | This is clearly an artist's impression of the Canadian Arrow in flight. The Arrow is based on developed V2 technology and has two components. In flight, the nose section, containing the passengers, separates and comes down to a landing in the sea, using parachutes. The lower, propulsion section, also returns to a sea landing on parachutes. A mock-up of the final vehicle has been built, and is carried about by road to exhibitions in Canada. Components of the engine have been tested. The attempt seems to have some promise, as activities are continuing to the present. To go to the Canadian Arrow site, click on their logo, below.
Canadian Arrow have now teamed up and are part of a grouping called "Planet Space". Planet Space also have a spaceplane design, but little is known about this vehicle. |
